Real World Testing

Hurricane Fabric Roll Down
Play Video

Real-world testing is really what happens every day of the year, specifically, in our case, during a storm. Unlike the formal LAB CERTIFICATION TESTS, where if the screen fails the test, modifications can be made, and the test is run again. Formal tests are always performed in an area specifically designed to contain possible damage in case of a product failure. Your home is not designed in the same way.

In REAL-WORLD tests, failure is NOT an option. If the screen fails in a REAL-WORLD test, there is a huge potential for damage. That’s why we believe that results from REAL-WORLD testing are much more important than certification testing. You can guess all day long that a new product will protect your property, but until it has been REAL-WORLD tested, over many years and in many different conditions, you cannot and will not know how well the product performs. And, during that test period, you and your family have become part of the REAL-WORLD test program.

Atlas Armor Hurricane Screens have been through 45 major storms from 2013 to 2023 (10 years) including 25 hurricanes, 17 tropical storms, and 5 tornados. And, we never failed. Zero failures for 10 consecutive years. If, in the future, we should fail, we will replace your wind-damaged fabric for FREE. Before you buy any product, read our warranty. Our 10 years of REAL-WORLD resting has validated our design, your safety, and your trust.

Our hurricane screens protect as you would expect them to work.
