When a hurricane damages your property, it’s not just the cost of repairing the building, but it’s also the loss of memories of photos, the pencil marks on the door jamb that measured the yearly growth of your kids or grandkids, the loss of your favorite aunt’s artwork, the pack of written letters from your mom and dad that you received when you were away at college. It’s all very personal and treasured beyond the actual replacement cost of the item. Insurance companies can’t replace those items. You can’t replace those items. They are gone forever.
At Atlas Armor, we take protecting your home very seriously because we have also lost memories due to storms and we know how that feels when you realize that it’s gone, and there is nothing that can be done about it.
The only way that you can protect those memories and your property and possibly even save your family’s lives is to install real hurricane protection BEFORE the event occurs.
Hurricanes are becoming more numerous and stronger with every year that goes by. We are being told that 2024 will be very busy year from hurricanes. Way above normal years in terms of total number of named storms and total number of major hurricanes (Category 3-5) making landfall. Hurricane Ian was just a couple of MPH below a Category 5. We had a large number of hurricane screens installed directly in Hurricane Ian’s path. While a great many of other hurricane screens failed, none of our screens failed. Atlas Armor customers remained safe and secure. All of their memories remained intact and believe me, knowing that is a great feeling for us. Call us, and we can also help you.
Below are some images and videos from Hurricane Ian just to give you an idea of what took place during Ian.
