Installation

We have installed many thousands of screens. Here are a few examples.

Our hurricane screens have been installed on just about every type of home, large and small. Some screens were added to existing homes, and some were installed as the home was being constructed. Some top hoods were exposed, and others were concealed in the ceiling. The same is true for our sidetracks, some are exposed, and others were built into the opening walls. We also have a variety of ways to control the screens: by using a home automation system, by using a wall switch, by using a cell phone over Wi-Fi, by using a crank, but the most popular is by using a handheld remote controller. The handheld remote controller operates like a TV remote. It allows you to sit in your chair and move the screens to adjust your comfort level.

The screens can be managed individually or in groups of two or more, or they can all go in the same direction at the same time. Just let the installer know how you want them to work. If you have screens in different parts of the home, please specify that you want a separate control for each area. A patio, for example, may have multiple screens so rather than having a bunch of controllers, one for each screen, we can provide a controller that has multiple channels so that you can control selected screens, or groups, or all of the screen at once by using a single handheld controller.
