Fixed and removable fabric hurricane screens are less expensive than motorized roll-down screens. Once in place, they offer the same protection as the roll-down screens. Our woven stainless steel security screen panels are always permanently installed. They come in different configurations to secure different areas of your home, business, or area. All configurations have the same attributes. They can be used for high wind, flying debris, and solar protection. Additionally, they offer intruder protection because you cannot easily cut the woven stainless steel without using a circular saw, nor can you break the screen by using sludge hammers or gain entrance using crowbars. Our fabric screens do not offer these security features.
Woven Stainless Steel Hurricane Screen Configurations
Our woven stainless steel screen comes in specific configurations for specific types of openings: hinged doors, sliding doors, fixed windows, emergency exit windows, and large screen panels. Each configuration is custom-designed and fitted to your existing opening. The resulting screen may require a rounded top or sides that do not form a perfect rectangular shape with 90-degree corners. All are custom-designed to fit into the existing opening or area. For an extra charge, the frame can be powder coated to any color you want, or you can choose one of our standard colors white, bronze, ivory, and beige. The screen portion is always black. The locks and hinges are stainless steel.

Beyond storm protection, our woven stainless steel security screen doors have a 3-point locking system that can easily be opened from the inside without a key, but a locked door will require a special key to enter from the outside. We have a single-hinged door and we also have French doors and sliding door configurations. The hinged doors can optionally be made with a rounded top to fit into an arch.

Our Security screen windows provide reinforced protection against both hurricanes and forced entry. Their strong design ensures long-term durability and resilience. If you choose a screen that can be opened in case of an emergency (these are required for all bedroom installations), there will be a “crash bar”, on the opposite side of the hinges, that can easily be opened by a child. The screen, however, cannot be opened from the outside.
